“ELANO,” owned by “Valley Water,” participated in the “Eid Joy” initiative at the “Ahl Masr” Inclusion Center, dedicated to child burn survivors and their families, in cooperation with the “Ahl Masr” Foundation and Hospital for Burn Treatment.
The company also took part in preparing and packing food boxes for underprivileged families in collaboration with the Egyptian Food Bank.
The initiative aimed to share the spirit of Eid with burn survivors and their families by creating moments of joy and emotional support, helping strengthen their sense of inclusion and belonging while supporting their recovery journey and rebuilding self-confidence.
As part of the company’s social responsibility efforts, employees of “Valley Water” participated in preparing and packing food cartons at the Egyptian Food Bank ahead of Eid Al-Adha distributions to families in need, in a move designed to bring relief and happiness to households facing rising living costs during the festive season.
Dr. Ahmed Eliwa, Chief Executive Officer of “Valley Water,” said that the true meaning of Eid is fulfilled when its joy creates a meaningful human impact in the lives of others, whether by bringing smiles to children’s faces or helping ease the burdens faced by vulnerable families.
He added that these initiatives are part of “ELANO’s” broader strategy to strengthen corporate social responsibility by supporting programs focused on sustainability, healthcare, and community empowerment, while promoting the values of solidarity and social participation during humanitarian occasions.
“We believe in the importance of building effective partnerships capable of delivering tangible and sustainable impact, whether through our collaboration with the Ahl Masr Foundation or the Egyptian Food Bank, to reach families most in need and bring them joy during Eid Al-Adha,” Eliwa said.
For her part, Maha Abu Saa, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainability, and Corporate Communications at “Valley Water,” said that “ELANO” is committed to supporting initiatives dedicated to burn survivors and their families.
She noted that the company participated as a Platinum Sponsor of the “Eid is Joy” celebration organized by the “Ahl Masr” Inclusion Center, reflecting its commitment to improving the quality of life for the most vulnerable groups.
She added: “Our collaboration with the Egyptian Food Bank helps ensure that support reaches deserving families more effectively. Joint efforts between different organizations create a greater and more sustainable social impact, which is what we continuously strive to achieve through the initiatives we support.”
“Abu Saa” noted that these efforts align with the company’s commitment to delivering initiatives with a positive humanitarian impact that directly benefits individuals and their families.
