In a strategic move that crowns more than 30 years of continuous construction and development, Madkour Holding has announced the launch of its new investment arm, Madkour Developments, reinforcing the group’s position as a key player in Egypt’s real estate development sector.
Madkour Holding’s Board of Directors has named Eng. Ahmed Attia as the Chief Executive Officer of Madkour Developments, assigning him the responsibility of leading the company’s ambitious strategy, underpinned by the parent group’s strong financial position and integrated execution capabilities.
Dr. Mostafa Madkour, Chairman of Madkour Holding, stated that the launch of Madkour Developments represents a natural evolution in the group’s growth journey, capitalizing on its extensive track record in delivering major national projects and complex infrastructure works built to the highest quality standards.
He added that the new company will adopt a distinctive urban development vision grounded in innovation, operational efficiency, and sustainability, aiming to deliver real estate products that stand on par with global developments while addressing the genuine needs of the Egyptian market, which is experiencing strong momentum and continuous transformation.
For his part, Eng. Hisham Madkour, Vice Chairman of Madkour Holding said that the group’s entry into the real estate development sector reflects its confidence in the strength of the Egyptian market and its ability to attract both local and foreign investment.
He disclosed that the company will soon announce a portfolio of distinguished projects based on thorough planning and the high-quality execution for which Madkour has long been known in the construction and contracting sectors.
The company’s vice chairman also expressed his confidence in Eng. Ahmed Attia’s ability to lead the company into a new phase of growth and achieve transformative successes, benefiting from his extensive experience in managing and developing major projects. This positions Madkour Developments as a strong addition to the market and a natural extension of Madkour’s legacy in development and construction.
Hisham Madkour noted that the new entity builds on Madkour Holding’s long-standing legacy in executing major national projects, pointed out that the company is entering the market not as a traditional developer, but as a fully integrated entity with extensive experience in national projects, infrastructure development, and residential community management.
He added, “Our strategy is clear — we deliver tangible realities. Further, our first project in financial and business district at the New Capital is already under construction and nearing completion, reflecting our ability to keep our promises. We are transferring our expertise from developing smart city networks in the New Capital to our own projects, providing a sustainable and practical real estate product.”
Meanwhile, Eng. Ahmed Attia, CEO of Madkour Developments, said that the company’s first project in the New Capital’s financial and business district is crafted as a model for sustainable construction, featuring advanced smart operations and facility management technologies that align with evolving global and local standards in development and sustainability.
He added: “Our edge lies in the fact that the technological systems we apply — covering energy efficiency and smart management — are more than just marketing slogans. These are proven, in-house technologies that we have successfully executed in projects like the smart electricity and water networks in the New Capital, Galala, and Toshka, providing investors with buildings that are future-ready and cost-efficient to operate.”
Madkour Group, founded by Dr. Mostafa Madkour, is one of Egypt’s leading national conglomerates in energy, residential community management, infrastructure, and industry.
