Smart Villages Development and Management Company Marks 25 Years of Smart Village as Egypt’s First Integrated Business Park

Smart Villages Development and Management Company (SVC) celebrated the 25th anniversary of its establishment, marking a quarter-century journey during which it successfully introduced the concept of integrated business communities in Egypt.
Since the launch of Smart Village in 2001 as the first integrated business park in Egypt, it has evolved into a strategic hub that brings together multinational technology companies, leading financial institutions, alongside key governmental and regulatory entities within an advanced and dynamic business environment.
Smart Village spans 2.5 million square meters, with 80% of its total area dedicated to landscaped green spaces, reflecting the company’s commitment to providing a sustainable work environment that balances productivity and quality of life.
Smart Village offers more than one million square meters of office space supported by advanced infrastructure, high-speed digital connectivity, integrated facility management, and energy-efficient district cooling systems.
Further reinforcing this integrated ecosystem, Smart Village hosts more than 260 business partners that operate across strategic sectors, including 55 renowned technology companies, 14 banks, all 4 telecommunications operators, as well as the premises of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), and the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).
With more than 100,000 employees working across over 95 operational buildings, Smart Village continues to expand through the development of more than 10 new buildings currently being developed and additional land plots to meet growing market demand.
On this occasion, Mr. Ahmed Amin, CEO of Smart Villages Development & Management Company, stated: “What makes Smart Village unique is not only the scale of its development but the ecosystem it has fostered over the past 25 years.
We bring together technology leaders, financial institutions, government entities, and innovators in one place to create an environment that enables collaboration, accelerates growth, and supports Egypt’s digital transformation journey.
Today, Smart Village stands as a strategic platform and a key driver of business growth and innovation, bringing together major institutions within one dynamic space that supports sustainability, development, and productivity.”
As it marks its 25th anniversary, SVC reaffirms its commitment to advancing Egypt’s business park sector through innovative and flexible solutions that cater to the evolving needs of local and global companies, as well as entrepreneurs and businesses of all sizes, while strengthening Egypt’s position as a regional hub for business and innovation.
