During the holy month of Ramadan, theinitiative generated donations through Ricrac’s two limited-edition prayermats, with 100% of proceeds dedicated to advancing the Foundation’s mission.
Reflecting a shared commitment to purposeful giving during the holy month, the initiativetransformed a symbolic Ramadan item into a meaningful platform for positive impact.
It achieved notable success, with 500 prayer matssold, and all proceeds directly supporting expanded access to life-savingcardiac care for children, while also strengthening the foundation’s medical,training, and research programs.
The collaboration also highlights the growing role of responsible brands in supporting impactful healthcare initiatives, demonstrating how partnerships between theprivate sector and charitable organizations can create meaningful change.
Bylinking everyday purchases with a humanitarian cause, the initiative encouragedindividuals to contribute to a life-saving mission while embracing the spiritof generosity that defines the holy month.
Notably, The MagdiYacoub Heart Foundation is opening Magdi Yacoub Global Heart Centre in Cairo,expanding its life-saving mission.
Designed to operate at three times thecapacity of the Aswan Heart Centre, the new centre will treat up to 12,000patients each year, serve 120,000 outpatients, provide 300 inpatient beds,operate 10 fully equipped operating rooms and cardiac catheterization labs, andrun 35 out patient clinics, all within a world-class, free-of-charge model of cardiac care that sets a global benchmark for excellence.
