Al-Ahram for Safety Systems signed a cooperation protocol with the German GIZ Foundation to develop the skills of women in factories

Al-Ahram Group for Safety Systems, the pioneer in the manufacture of door locking systems and accessories in Egypt and the Middle East, signed a cooperation protocol with the German Foundation for International Cooperation (GIZ) in order to support and develop the work environment for women and develop the skills of 120 working women within the group’s factories in the 10th of Ramadan City.

The protocol signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Samir Aref, Chairman of the Tenth of Ramadan Investors Association, Chairman of the Group’s Board of Directors, Mr. Vladimir Bayer, Executive Director of the Group, and all the company’s leaders.Also attended from the german foundation (GIZ) Mr. K. Dr. Samir Aref, Chairman of the Tenth of Ramadan Investors Association and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Ahram Group for Safety Systems, praised the efforts made by the German Foundation for International Cooperation (GIZ) to develop the work environment within the industrial sector, stressing that there has been cooperation over the past years and the industrial sector in Egypt has benefited greatly from This international institution.

Aref explained that GIZ has been working in Egypt for more than 40 years through the Mubarak Call initiative, which is a successful project so far, and they have

distinguished training programs that aimed to develop the skills of workers within the productive sectors.
For his part, Vladimir Bayer, Executive Director of Al-Ahram Security Systems Group, said that the protocol aims to develop career paths within the group and support the internal communications plan that supports diversity efforts in the work environment, in addition to promoting a culture that supports diversity in the work environment.

Bayer explained that they have 120 working women inside their factories, and that the manufacture of kalons and safety systems usually have more women than that, which is what the company aims to achieve through the training program with the German Foundation for International Cooperation (GIZ), which helps us provide training opportunities for working women and provide job

opportunities. For new women to join the production sector at Al-Ahram Company.
The Executive Director of Al-Ahram Group for Safety Systems looked forward to more cooperation with the German Corporation so that we can receive a larger number of women working in the company’s factories.

representative of Giz in Egypt that supporting women’s economic participation and empowerment in Egypt and the Middle East and North Africa region is one of the goals of the project to enhance women’s economic participation in the Middle East and North Africa, which is implemented by the German Agency for International Cooperation on behalf of the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development We are pleased to cooperate with a leading company such as Al-Ahram Group in implementing measures to attract, promote and retain women.

Marwan Ali, head of the human resources sector at Al-Ahram Security Systems Group, through the partnership with GIZ, looked forward to improving the performance and experience of more than 120 women working on production lines

and the company’s administrative staff through training programs aimed at improving their professional and personal skills during the coming year 2023.
In addition to that, that the training programs target all employees of the company and their number exceeds 1,200 workers in the group to raise awareness of the role of women and empower them and develop their professional capabilities within the company and in their working lives.
