Vodafone Egypt announced the appointment of Ayman El Saadany as Head of External Affairs and Rasha Hamdy as Head of Legal Affairs, effective October 1, 2025.

These appointments are designed to ensure a smooth leadership transition and enhance the efficiency of the executive management.

In their new roles, Ayman and Rasha have joined the company’s Executive Committee and will report directly to Mohamed Abdalla, CEO and Managing Director of Vodafone Egypt and Regional Head of International Markets at Vodacom Group.

These appointments follow Ayman Essam’s transition to his new role as Chief External Affairs Officer for Vodacom Group International.

Ayman El Saadani currently serves as Head of Government Relations and Public Policy at Vodafone Egypt. In his new role, he will manage a broad portfolio of activities, including regulatory affairs, public policy, government relations, external communications, sustainability, and corporate security, in addition to the Vodafone Egypt Foundation for Community Development. This will support the company’s external communications strategy and enhance its role in innovation and digital transformation in Egypt.

Rasha Hamdy, currently Head of Legal Affairs, will lead the following departments: Contracting and Legal Consulting, Compliance and Governance, Risk Management, Privacy and Data Protection, and Dispute Resolution. She will also contribute to empowering the company’s business and enhancing corporate culture and governance practices in accordance with international best practices.

These appointments highlight Vodafone Egypt’s commitment to leadership succession and building future institutional capabilities to support the company’s vision for a better future for all.
