vivo Egypt Launches V23 5G & V23e

ZHan: vivo increased its presence to 60 countries to be favored by more than 400 million users.

vivo Egypt announces its latest flagship smartphones: V23 5G & V23e in the Egyptian market. The V23 5G combines industry-leading front camera specs and features with innovative elegant color changing design under direct sunlight as well as fastest connectivity tech with dual 5G mode. While the new V23e brings outstanding clarity and steadiness to selfies through its enhanced Autofocus and fun portrait features, while the night portrait defies the darkness with the AI Extreme Night mode.

On the sidelines of its latest launch, vivo Egypt unveiled their new partnership with the iconic famed Egyptian actor Asser Yassin as vivo’s new brand ambassador in Egypt.

In this context, Alex ZHan vivo Egypt CEO said, “launching our first 5G phone in Egypt V23 5G confirms vivo’s global strategy which highly emphasizes R&D and technological advancement. We are proud that in 2021, vivo succeeded in developing its global research and development network, which has now reached to 10 R&D centers covering various cities around the world”, said ZHan. “The development scope has been widened to include 5G communication, artificial intelligence, image technology and many other personal consumer electronics, innovative designs and services”, he added.

“vivo has increased its presence to 60 countries to be favored by more than 400 million users worldwide as well as shipping 34.2 million units marking 8% growth YoY. Furthermore, throughout the global market share of the mobile phone industry, vivo sold fourth globally in the third quarter of 2021 and ranked top 1 in China”, ZHan commented attributing the company’s remarkable performance to its effective strategies.

Wafia Al Badry, PR & Communications Manager of vivo Egypt, said, “vivo Egypt’s sales grew 300% YOY with more than 6000 partners, 10 fully operating after sales service centers and 7 new ones that will be inaugurated in 2022 to widen the range of vivo’s services to ensure a pleasant experience for the Egyptian customer”.

It’s worth noting that vivo’s first 5G phone was released in 2019 in the China with the help of their 10 cutting-edge R&D centers around the world. In Egypt, vivo has launched the V & Y series smartphones (V21, V21e, Y53s, Y33s, Y21) in the local market catering for different users and budgets before commercializing 5G for the Egyptian market this year with V23 5G.
