Huawei, the world pioneer in information and communication technology solutions, has been recognized as the “Top Employer” for 2022, by the Top Employers Institute. Being certified as a Top Employer showcases Huawei’s efforts and dedication to a better world of work and exhibits this through excellent HR policies and people practices. This is based on promoting a positive work environment, encouraging employees for personal and professional development, talent acquisition, as well as diversity and inclusion within the work environment.
“We are proud to be recognized as the top employer in Egypt for the second consecutive year. This accreditation validates the company’s efforts to provide a positive working environment and development programs that allow its employees to unleash their potential and creativity. We, at Huawei, consider our human capital to be the most valuable asset. Thus, we are eager to involve them in programs, events, and focused initiatives regularly to develop their skills and build their capabilities. We believe that the positive work environment plays a pivotal role in achieving the company’s mission and vision, and that cultural diversity in the work environment results in creativity, which we seek to achieve through our strategy of diversity and inclusion in the work environment.” Vincent Sun, Huawei Egypt CEO, said.
Top Employers Institute CEO David Plink says: “Reflecting on the demanding year that has, like the year before it, impacted organizations across the world, Huawei Technologies has continued to show that it prioritizes maintaining excellent people practices in the workplace. They continue to meet the challenges of the changing world of work while working tirelessly to make a positive impact on the lives of their workforce. We are pleased to celebrate and applaud the organizations that have been certified as Top Employers in their respective countries this year.”
Since Huawei’s inception in the Egyptian market more than 22 years ago, Huawei has been keen to achieve its vision of bringing digital to every individual, home and organization for a fully connected, smart world, which is currently being implemented worldwide. This requires a solid strategy aimed at developing its employees’ capabilities and skills through various training programs to ensure continuous development and achieving the company’s vision, in order to lead the digital transformation strategy in the world.
